Syllabase privacy policy
Syllabase keeps your academic data private: no ad trackers, no selling or sharing with advertisers, no AI run on your grades, and no syllabus uploads. You can export or delete your data at any time. The full policy loads below.
In short
- What we collect: Your email and the courses, grades, attendance and work sessions you enter; which features your account uses; where you signed up from; and, for every visitor, page views with the country and region of the visit and the device type.
- What we never collect: Syllabus files, payment details, advertising identifiers, precise or GPS location, or your IP address (it is never stored).
- No cookies, nothing to accept: Visit counting stores nothing in your browser. Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track and the “Don’t count my visits” switch turn all analytics off.
- Who can see your data: Never other users. The person who runs Syllabase opens an account only to answer your request, fix a problem or investigate abuse, and every view is logged.
- Where it is stored: Supabase in the United States (Oregon), served by Vercel and Cloudflare. Error reports go to Sentry with all text masked.
- How long we keep it: Account data until you delete your account; visit stats and feature usage about 13 months; feedback 24 months.
- Your rights: Export a complete copy or delete everything from Settings, or email support@getsyllabase.com to access, correct or object. You can complain to your privacy regulator.
